RECENT NEWS: I have recently married and have just finished moving myself, all my shoes (!) and all the rabbits. We are still in Manchester, about 10 mins away from my old house.

Thankfully my new husband is getting the rabbit bug already and spends more time in the rabbit shed than I do!    Here he is pictured holding a rabbit for the first time!

Inside our rabbitry. Most of our hutches have been custom built and we generally have 3ftx2ft along with slightly smaller hutches for running on young Netherlands and bigger hutches for does with litters.

Chester - Black Mini Lop BuckWe started keeping rabbits about seven years ago when we stopped to rescue a baby rabbit that had been hit by the side of the road. We called her Tomatin (after the place) and hence our stud name.

One of rosette boardsI started to keep mainly pet rabbits and rescued from a pet shop that I worked in at the time. A friend asked if I wanted to go to a local rabbit show with her which I did. The rest is history.

We initially started showing Netherland Dwarfs in several colours and then decided to have a go with Mini Lops. Our main interest is the agouti Netherland along with a few sables and various other colours that 'pop' out of litters along the way such as REW, opal, black, marten sable and smoke. Our main colour in the Mini Lops was black, sooty fawn, agouti and siamese sable although I have now started to breed rabbits with

Choc otter baby doemy partner and due to his fondness for 'pretty' colours and 'spotties' I now have stock in chocolate (otter, tort, solid and butterfly), lilac (fox and solid), fawn, blue butterfly and several other weird and wonderful new additions!
